Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PullMaster ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. PullMaster LLC ("we", "us", or "our") reserves the right to update these Terms at any time.

2. Description of Service

PullMaster is a GitHub App that intelligently recommends code reviewers for pull requests by analyzing your team's code history, file familiarity, code ownership, and other signals. The Service operates as a GitHub App and requires installation on your GitHub repositories.

3. GitHub App Authorization

To use PullMaster, you must authorize the PullMaster GitHub App to access your GitHub repositories. PullMaster requests the following permissions:

  • Read access to repository contents and pull requests
  • Write access to post review comments and request reviewers

PullMaster follows the principle of least privilege and only accesses repositories you explicitly grant it access to. You may revoke access at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App from your repositories or organization.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service or any other systems or networks connected to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Use the Service to violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights

5. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights, title, and interest in and to your code, repositories, and any other content you provide to the Service. PullMaster does not claim ownership of your code or content. By using the Service, you grant PullMaster the limited right to access and process your repository metadata and pull request information solely for the purpose of providing reviewer recommendations.

The Service itself, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by PullMaster LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. PullMaster does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

PullMaster provides recommendations based on automated analysis. These recommendations are suggestions only and do not guarantee the suitability or availability of any reviewer. You are responsible for your own code review decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PULLMASTER LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9. Termination

You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by uninstalling the PullMaster GitHub App from your repositories. Upon termination, PullMaster will stop accessing your repositories and will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

PullMaster reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user who violates these Terms or engages in harmful or illegal activity.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [Your Jurisdiction].

11. Changes to Terms
